The New York State GMRS Alliance was created by a group of like-minded two-way radio enthusiasts as a resource for individuals who wish to expand their General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) participation and opportunities. Our mission is simple, that is to demonstrate the value of GMRS with regards to personal, recreational, practical, contingency or emergency communications. Through a membership structure we will focus on providing the tools to help you get the most out of your GMRS license. Additionally, the NYS GMRS Alliance is committed to providing and supporting a network of reliable GMRS repeater options through participating partners and radio industry connections.
